I have heard about Convergys when I was pursuing MBA from Delhi. It was one of the best BPO company in Delhi NCR and it is located in Gurgaon sector 43. I joined this company in 2015 with the objective of getting good salary plus job security which is the most important thing everyone look forward to in today’s world.
Gradually, I used to know many things about this company like the environment, work culture, staff and many more things. In starting, I was assigned evening shift which was nice to go with, however, just after 2 month I was thrown into night shift which starts from 10:30pm to 7:30am. I am used to do this shift in my previous organization so it was not tired for me, however, things change with the passes of time, it was only one month in this shift and I was given graveyard shift in the pretext of rotational shift which changes every two months. I was okay with this and noticed many intolerable things including the shift timings and management which was changing like anything.
In starting I used to give 7:30 hours of login and due to their worst management they were unable to manage the staffing issues which led us to do 8 hours of login everyday. I was in AT&T chat process as Technical Support Officer. I noticed many things while working with convergys like there was no particular procedure to handle the customer queries and most of the time we keep asking for the right resolution which needs to be provided to our AT&T customer, so everytime we had to consult the issue with our team leader like what needs to be done then the team leader would go to his manager or what ever the immediate supervisor he was working under with. Now, it is enough to get informed about a company you are working with, then one bad a news came to the floor that the shift timings have been further increased to 8:30 hours, the login hours issue was one of the biggest issue in Convergys, this company uses every employee like a donkey, they will put a bunch of bricks on your back slowly slowly, putting a bunch of bricks is not the issue as this is what we were supposed to do, however, to increase the number of bricks day by day is the biggest problem in Convergys and they do it with every employee in every process they handle.
In this last, as a friend of yours, I would recommend each and everyone not to join this company otherwise you will be wasting your energy and time which is the most important things as for each one of us Time is Money so use it very carefully. If you wish to join this company then be prepared to give approximately 14 hours each day which includes transportation, breaks and login time.
